He's in Paraguay!!!!

HEY MOM!!

So they're giving me a chance to email you right now! I don't have a ton of time, but I will try my best to tell you everything haha. So we got here last night at midnight safely. We all met President and Hermana Hansen at the airport when we arrived and got our visas and everything. Then we packed our bags on a truck and the AP's were there and they drove us to the mission offices. They have a little house right by the mission offices that has 8 beds so all of the Elders slept in there for the night. President Hansen let us sleep in until about 7:30, so that felt good haha. Today we're mostly just doing initiatory stuff like safety and whatnot. Oh my goodness, I am so overwhelmed with how much stuff I have to worry about. I have to worry about rent and a card and speaking Spanish and so many things, it's really scary. I'm praying hard I won't have to worry so much though. We meet our new companions in 2 1/2 hours and most of them are Latinos they said. We'll also find out our areas soon. It is HUMID here. It's pretty hot and I swear I could drink the air it's so humid haha. They said the Facebook page is Paraguay Asuncion Mission 2018-2021 so if you aren't already following that, I guess you could haha. I don't have any more time but thanks so much Mom. Please pray I won't feel crazy stressed with how much stuff I have to do. Love you so much!!!

Hey Mom! Hahaha I'm so happy my picture with the cat is popular. I thought it was super funny when we took it. We were teaching a menos activo member and he had these little cats jump up on us during the lesson. So we have 'interviews' with President every transfer to make sure everythings good, and we had ours this week and President told me that I'm almost for sure going somewhere this transfer. He didn't know where yet but just told me I was leaving. I personally think it would be super fun to go somewhere super far away like in Zone 9 or something. The farthest area away is called Campo Nueva and I kinda wanna go there haha. But I don't have a huge preference. Also MOM. On my last transfer I am FOR SURE gonna try to make everyone feel trunky!!! Falam Portugues?

Heeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy everrryybbooddyyy!!!! Voces falam portugues? Está bem! Eu tambem nao. Mas vou seguir aprendendo kkkkkkkkkkk.      So we had transfers and I'm back here with my boy Elder Rodrigues and we're just having a grand ol' time here in the Floresta. I remember my first week here I had to adjust quite a bit. In Villarrica the people are super nice, but here they're a little more frío. So Elder Rodrigues kinda had to go through that same adjustment. But I think he's doing pretty good now.      I'm pretty glad that Elder Rodrigues is here with me. Last transfer my companion didn't drink any soda and only ate out once a week, but now we're back to eating out every day except Sunday and drinking soda for personal study in the morning, so life is good. I honestly have NO idea how I have not gained weight since I've been here. I checked my weight actually a few weeks ago, and I'm still sitting at the same 160 pounds of skin and bone tha...

The Prophet Was Right!

What the heck happened guys??? Last week was super chill, but then all of a sudden BAM I feel like we're in an apocalypse or something. IN JUST ONE WEEK! WHAT THE HECK?      So I'd first like to state that the majority of people here in Paraguay hear about the news about something and that's the ONLY thing they talk about. So if something happens, pretty much EVERYONE tells us about it. Members, non members, everyone. So we'd been aware of the Corona Virus for quite some time. But really I didn't think it was a big deal haha. Then on tuesday night we get this message from our president saying, "Due to the Corona Virus, there will be no church meetings of any kind for 2 weeks. No sacrament meeting. No district councils. NADA." WHATTTT yYOU GOTTA BE KIDDING MEE?? HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE A MISSIONARY WITHOUT A CHURCH???
