Meeting the Prophet!

Hey Mom!!!

I have so many emails to respond to so this one might be a little short hahahaha.

YES! The prophet was AMAZING. Yesterday we went to the mission offices where every missionary in our mission was (Theres 162 of us) and that was awesome seeing everyone. Then we had a little devotional about safety and stuff and THEN WE GOT TO SEE THE PROPHET. We got a group picture with all of us and the prophet (and I'm sure I'll get that sooner or later). Then we got to SHAKE HIS HAND. Yes, you heard me right. His wife and also Elder Stevenson and his wife were there as well and we got to shake their hands. They have to be the nicest people I've ever met. It's like you can see Jesus standing beside them. But yeah that was awesome. 

Then everyone gave a talk. Stevenson's was about obeying the mission rules and it was really good. And Nelson's was a lot about Preach My Gospel, Eternal families, and the Book of Mormon. He explained a lot about how our mission is preparing us for our future and I'm so excited.

No, Elder Guerrero has been a member his whole life. He has 2 brothers and a mom and dad and they're all members and all active (IN BOLIVIA). But he's awesome. My Spanish has gotten a ton better and it's gotten easier to communicate with him.

It's pretty impossible to teach others from English scriptures because they don't speak English, so yes I teach in Spanish, mom hahaha. I do study in English every day though because I can't understand jack diddly if I do it in Spanish hahaha.

Ummmmm, Idk... All of my clothes are great. Today is the first day where it's been raining all day and the rain jacket is amazing as well as the umbrella. But yeah, I'll tell you if I need anything haha.

Hey Everyone!

So this email is coming today because yesterday everyone in my mission had the opportunity to have a devotional with the PROPHET, RUSSEL M. NELSON. We even got to shake his hand. It was a FANTASTIC experience. I think Russel M. Nelson might be one of, if not, THE nicest people in the world. He just glows with love. We also got the chance to hear from Elder Stevenson, one of the apostles and he was great as well.

Holy wow has this week been awesome. My Spanish is still really bad hahaha but it's improving every day. I think I can now have a good conversation with my companion (usually) and teach a good share of the lesson.

The food has only gotten better since I've been here. There's also this soda called Fanta Guarana and it might be one of the best drinks in the world. I get it almost every day haha. I was worried I wasn't gonna get enough to eat down here, but now I'm actually worrying about the opposite! I don't want to gain weight haha. When we go to members' houses, they LOAD your plate up with food and constantly ask if you want more. AND then they bring a huge dessert at the end! After every lunch with members, me and Elder Guerrero have to walk really slow because we're so full lol.

I really don't have a ton more time to write right now, but this week was awesome and I'm doing great. I also have a billion emails to respond to because I didn't have time last week. Thanks for all your emails. I read all of them and try to respond to all of them. Love you all!

Hopefully these pictures send. The first one is of my dank new watch I got because I'm always prepared and didn't have one before coming out here. The second is of the bomb pizza we got. And then we got burgers DELIVERED TO OUR DOORSTEP. It was so flipping good. It had an egg on it and oh my goodness. The food is AMAZING.
