The Church is True. Remember Jesus. Love you all.
Que tal mis naranjas,
Hey MOM,
Thanks so much Mom. I miss all of you like every day haha.
Allllllllllright. This week was
pretty bomb. So to start off, last Monday, we had a little mini
district activity. Did you know that there's a TGIFridays in Paraguay?
And all the music there is in English? And the menu is in English? And
it tastes the same as in the United States? Yeah. NEITHER DID I. I felt
like I was in the United States again
.
So we went there for lunch and then went and played soccer at the
church in Centro. Then on Tuesday we helped a family clean their front
yard. Literally every person here owns a machete to cut down trees. We
chopped down a bunch of their trees and basically just cleaned. I
totally forgot to bring my camera for pictures so oops. And then on
Wednesday we had a zone Christmas activity. We all gathered as a zone in
our Mission President's house and talked a lot about Christmas, and
played ping pong. It was a grand time. Totally forgot to take pictures
soo oooooooops. I think Paraguay just had a holiday to celebrate Mary or
something? I'm not quite sure, and it's still hard for me to communicate
with my companion because he doesn't speak English hahaha. But anyways, a
lot of people have been busy this week and we haven't been able to have
a ton of lessons or find people, so that kinda sucks.
Also,
fun little thing about Paraguay(and maybe South America?), is that for
Christmas a lot of people light off fireworks in celebration. SO
basically it's the 4th of July in 15 days. Woot woot. Also they have
little to no laws on fireworks so everyone's got bottle rockets and
firecrackers and everything. A member actually gave me a bottle rocket a
few weeks ago hahaha.
But yeah I guess that-s
all I got for this week. Hope you all have a great week. The church is
true. Remember Jesus. Love you all.

Yeah,
so our Christmas activity was just kind of a zone conference. We talked
about goooospel stuff and then just kinda hung out for an hour in the
mission President's house. It's suuuuper chuchi.
We
helped clean one member's front yard and like chopped down all their
trees. I totally forgot to bring my camera that day, so ooops. When a
missionary is thinking about his house we call them tronky, and right
now Elder Guerrero is veeery tronky hahaha. He says he doesn't like to
write his family every week because they always talk about what their
gonna do when he gets home hahaha.
Sure didn't know they were having a baby. I also always forget our ward doesn't exist anymore haha.
Every
Monday and sometimes Tuesdays members ask me how my family is and what
they're doing. I always say my family is really boring and nothing
really happens hahaha. The most exciting thing is you're giving a talk
this Sunday
.
So
I don't know what time we're calling our families on Christmas, but I
think we're just doing it through email? I think there's a way you can
do it, but I guess we'll figure it out then haha.
The
package actually just got here, I got it 2 days ago!! Woot woot. I
don't know if you want me to open the wrapped presents until Christmas
or not so they're just sitting at our house right now, but I LOVE the
Waffles socks hahahahahahaha. I laughed so hard when I saw them. Also
love the purple tie, I really needed a purple one.
But
yeah, this week has been good. We had a lot of activities and stuff
this week so we haven't found a ton of new people and a lot of current
investigators are always busy so. Still doesn't feel like
Christmas cuz it's so hot haha.
