Crazy Week!

Hey guys!

So I have like legit no time to write this week, but this week was freaking CRAZY!!!! So I'm here in Obrero with my main man Elder Gomes and he's AWESOME! He's from Brazil and he has one less transfer than me and he's still learning spanish and knows Portugese so it's super goofy talking with him because sometimes he'll just start speaking Portugese but I can kinda understand him because it's really similar to Spanish. But ANYWAYS, on Thursday, we had to go to the hospital. He got an infection on his toe a few weeks ago and has had to go to the hospital every week for it. We we go to the hospital, all fine and dandy. But then we walk out and it's POORING. And we don't have umbrellas. But he had to go get him drugs for his infection and the pain, so we got DRENCHED going to do that. Then I totally forgot about my camera, so it got wet and no longer works, so I'm like great, how could this day get any worse?? OH WAIT!! We get back to the house and start eating lunch, and then my COMPANION HAS A SEIZURE!!!!! It was crazy!!!! We were just talking and all of a sudden he freezes and saliva starts coming out of his mouth and he falls and I'm FREAKING OUUTTTTT. Eventually he got out of it, but I guess the same thing happend like 3 weeks ago with his other companion. I called our Mission President and we gave him a blessing and we had to go to the hospital on Friday to check it out. As far as we know there's nothing wrong with him, but we have no clue.... So yeah, we haven't had like anytime to do like anything thsi week because we've been doing hospital stuff, but yeah!!!! The computer here is super fancy and fast so I can upload pictures faster, but today I only have 1 photo. I was looking for other ones I wanted to send but I can't find them right now and no time to look, but next week!

Hey Mom! Hahaha I'm so happy my picture with the cat is popular. I thought it was super funny when we took it. We were teaching a menos activo member and he had these little cats jump up on us during the lesson. So we have 'interviews' with President every transfer to make sure everythings good, and we had ours this week and President told me that I'm almost for sure going somewhere this transfer. He didn't know where yet but just told me I was leaving. I personally think it would be super fun to go somewhere super far away like in Zone 9 or something. The farthest area away is called Campo Nueva and I kinda wanna go there haha. But I don't have a huge preference. Also MOM. On my last transfer I am FOR SURE gonna try to make everyone feel trunky!!! Falam Portugues?

Heeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy everrryybbooddyyy!!!! Voces falam portugues? Está bem! Eu tambem nao. Mas vou seguir aprendendo kkkkkkkkkkk.      So we had transfers and I'm back here with my boy Elder Rodrigues and we're just having a grand ol' time here in the Floresta. I remember my first week here I had to adjust quite a bit. In Villarrica the people are super nice, but here they're a little more frío. So Elder Rodrigues kinda had to go through that same adjustment. But I think he's doing pretty good now.      I'm pretty glad that Elder Rodrigues is here with me. Last transfer my companion didn't drink any soda and only ate out once a week, but now we're back to eating out every day except Sunday and drinking soda for personal study in the morning, so life is good. I honestly have NO idea how I have not gained weight since I've been here. I checked my weight actually a few weeks ago, and I'm still sitting at the same 160 pounds of skin and bone tha...

The Prophet Was Right!

What the heck happened guys??? Last week was super chill, but then all of a sudden BAM I feel like we're in an apocalypse or something. IN JUST ONE WEEK! WHAT THE HECK?      So I'd first like to state that the majority of people here in Paraguay hear about the news about something and that's the ONLY thing they talk about. So if something happens, pretty much EVERYONE tells us about it. Members, non members, everyone. So we'd been aware of the Corona Virus for quite some time. But really I didn't think it was a big deal haha. Then on tuesday night we get this message from our president saying, "Due to the Corona Virus, there will be no church meetings of any kind for 2 weeks. No sacrament meeting. No district councils. NADA." WHATTTT yYOU GOTTA BE KIDDING MEE?? HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE A MISSIONARY WITHOUT A CHURCH???
