Leaving Republicano

Hey Mom!

I'M FINALLY LEAVING REPUBLICANOOOOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

HOWEVER, I'm going somewhere suuuuper close hahaha. In fact, I'm staying in the same zone. In fact, THE SAME DISTRICT. I'm going to an area called Obrero. I BELIEVE I'm also sharing Sajonia, so I'm gonna have 2 areas, which is crazy. I love Sajonia though, so. I still don't know exactly how it's working, but of course I'll know by next week. My next companion is gonna be Elder Gomez. He's from Brazil. I already know him super well because we've been in the same district for the past 12 weeks. He just finished his training, so I have 1 more transfer than him. I know! I already feel so old haha. He's super cool though and I'm excited. Elder Gutierrez is staying here and he's actually gonna be my District Leader which is kind of funny. So I'll still be in good contact with him haha. He's training this transfer, so that's fun. But yeah, I'm super nervous if I have 2 areas with someone who just got out of training that also doesn't know English, but I'm sure it'll be all good. I am a LITTLE nervous that I'll change missions but I'm praying that won't happen. I would have to have 4 transfers in Obrero for that to happen, which isn't common, but definitely possible.

Usually I write things to write about throughout the week so I remember, but definitely didn't and don't know what to write about haha. This week was a lot better for finding new people. Unfortunately STILL nobody went to church on Sunday which sucks. They have a Noche de Hogar planned with Mabel though on Tuesday with members though, so hope that goes well.

It feels super weird that I'm going somewhere else finally. I've been saying bye to all the members this past week and it's weird how close I feel to all of them. But I'll probably see some of them later because we'll have divisions and I might see them then if I come here for divisions hahaa.

But I don't have a ton of time to write. I'm really excited to continue working in Obrero and possibly Sajonia. It's gonna be CRAZY hard if I have to be in Sajonia too, but I know it will be fine. Thanks so much for everything Mom, love you!!!

Wow. These last 6 weeks ZOOMED by!!! Way faster than my training haha. These past 6 weeks have been awesome with Elder Gutierrez. I just got told that I'm going to a area called Obrero. My new companion will be Elder Gomez, a Brazilian. Obrero is actually already in our district and I already know Elder Gomez reallly well, so I don't imagine it being too hard adjusting haha. I'm a little sad because I was hoping to to go somewhere further in the field, but it's ok. We also might be in control of another area called Sajonia. So I might have 2 AREAS, which is nuts. I love Sajonia(it's like, super in the city)and I know a lot of people there already, because we have divisions there a lot.

This week has been pretty good. We found a lot of new awesome people to teach. It's kinda weird saying goodbye to so many members here that I love so much. Fortunately I'm going to a area super close to us, so I'll probably see them sometime haha. My current companion Elder Gutierrez is actually going to be my district leader, so I don't have to say goodbye quite yet ha.

But Republicano has been good. I had 1 baptism with Elder Guerrero and she's still active and awesome. We visit her and her sister every few nights, and they're still doing great. I'm super excited to see what my new area and my new companions will have in store for me.

p.s. My camera totally broke!!! I pulled it out of my fanny pack and the screen was shattered!! It still takes good photos, but the screen doesn't work so I don't know how good my photos will be from now on, but just a heads up haha. I'll try to get it fixed soon.
