Welp.

Holaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,

So, as you can read from the title, we definitely didn't have a baptism...BUT, it's all good, becaAUUUSEEE as you can see from the picture, I FOUND CUP OF NOODLESS!!!! But in all seriousness, I'm super bummed the baptism didn't follow through. Here's how it went down:

On Friday we went to the church and cleaned out the baptism font which took forEVVERRR (like 3 or 4 hours) because the drainage thing doesn't work so we had to dump out water with a bucket and it takes forever. We also invited a LOT of people to the baptism and we were super excited because Obrero hasn't had a baptism in like 7 months. Then Saturday comes around and we finished filling the font with water in the morning and we were super prepared. We went over to Ezequiel's house at like 2ish just to make sure everything is all good and when we got there he was super excited for his baptism so we thought everything was good. We went over to the church at 5:30 (The baptism was supposed to start at 6:00) and we made sure everything was ready. We had already planned people to speak and hymns to play and everything. Then 6:00 rolls around and of course nobody is still there because Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Standard Time. But 6:15 rolls around a bunch of members showed up, including a bunch who brought food and cake and stuff to eat afterwards and everyones asking, "Where's Ezequiel???" So we went over to Ezequiel's house and he wasn't home and his family had no idea where he was so yeah just like that the baptism was cancelled. BUT, we did get to enjoy empanadas later that night, so it wasn't all too bad. We're planning on talking to Ezequiel tomorrow to see what's up.

But other than that, not a ton happened this week. We have a list of members and we really made an effort to visit a bunch of the inactive ones and not one of them wanted to talk to us. So that was fun. But yeeeeeeeeah. We're gonna find some awesome people to teach this week, I can feel it. Hope you all have a bomb week!
