SEMANA SANTA

What is uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup everyone,

     So this week was a looooot like the last one....meaning that not much happend haha. BUT,  I have an excuse this time. This week was the SEMANA SANTA, which means like holy or sacred week. So I'm pretty sure it's a Catholic thing, but basically all of the week of Easter everyone gets together with their families and celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ....whether that means reading the scriptures and going to church, or getting wasted and breaking all of God's commandments, who knows. But basically like nobody wanted to talk to us this week because everyone was either drunk or with familiy visiting and didn't want us to interrupt.... by BLESSING THEIR LIVES. But it's all good in the hood.
     I went to this new place to get my haircut last P day and there's this couple that owns this hair salon place and we were talking them a bunch when I got my haircut and they wanted us to visit them at their house sometime and we went back the next Friday and taught them! We went over to their house (thinking that they're not gonna be there because no one ever is) to find out that they were waiting for us! They're both SUPER cool. The dude's name is Aldo but he goes by Alby and his wife's name is Natalia and they're AWESOME. First of all, they really like NBA, which is really rare in South America. Second, they really like Netflix. but last and most importantly, they've been waiting to hear about the restored gospel. We started teaching by starting with a prayer and Natalia volunteered to offer it and she gave such a sincere prayer asking to know what church to go to. It really invited the Spirit and the lesson was crazy drived by it. We asked heaven inspired questions and they actually answered them and I really think they felt the Spirit. We gave them 2 Book of Mormons with the invitiation to read Moroni 10:3-5 and to pray to know if it's true, so we'll check up on that tomorrow.
     But other than that lesson in particular, not much has happened. the weather was a little cooler this week, so that was nice. I've heard from the Zone Leaders that they think that all the companionships in our zone are changing, so there's a good chance I'm dippin outta here in 2 weeks, and I hope that's true. But yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah, hope you all have a great week! Keep the Spirit.

Hey guys! So I'm sure you all already know/have heard stuff about missionaries going home and stuff and yup, you read that title right. All Elders from the United States that have 18 or more months in the mission will be released. I currently have 18 months and something days, so I will be in that group. This last week has been crazy. We're closing our houses and everything. My Brazilian companion will be going home tomorrow and be with his family. We still don't know when all the gringos are going home. We've been told that in less than 2 weeks. But wow, this is just craziness. I'm super grateful for the chance I've had to serve and be here in Paraguay. I know that these are some trialing times right now for some people but just follow Christ and all will be good. Hey Mom! Hahaha I'm so happy my picture with the cat is popular. I thought it was super funny when we took it. We were teaching a menos activo member and he had these little cats jump up on us during the lesson. So we have 'interviews' with President every transfer to make sure everythings good, and we had ours this week and President told me that I'm almost for sure going somewhere this transfer. He didn't know where yet but just told me I was leaving. I personally think it would be super fun to go somewhere super far away like in Zone 9 or something. The farthest area away is called Campo Nueva and I kinda wanna go there haha. But I don't have a huge preference. Also MOM. On my last transfer I am FOR SURE gonna try to make everyone feel trunky!!! Zone Conference!

Hey hey hey evverryyonee. What's up? Oh me? I'm doing great. I hope you all know that we finished those 14 liters of soda yesterday. And yes, every liter was worth it.      We totally had a zone conference with a General Authority named Elder Villar on Thursday and that was pretty amazing. Like, I definitely realized that the MEMBERS can be even BETTER missionaries than us! Just show the example, invite people to activities, be cool, idk. The church is awesome! Was a great conference.
