"Bombastic" week!

This week was pretty bombTASTIC if I do say so myself. Summer is FINALLY over here and it's been a lot cooler lately. Like legit my sweater hasn't even been enough a couple days. I guess it's supposed to get suuuuuper cold this week so I guess we'll see if I get hypothermia or not.
Elder Santana is flappin AWESOME. I've been learning so much from him these last 2 weeks. My last transfer was so hard because my companion never wanted to give me opportunites to teach, but now with Elder Santana we're just out here slayin it. I still feel like my spanish is super más o menos, BUT, I think I can speak well enough to get our message across.
As of right now(and I don't wanna jynx it), we have a baptism this coming Saturday. Elder Santana and his old companion Elder Deere have been teaching this 13 year old boy Roberto and he's just awesome. We haven't been able to visit them these last 2 weeks because his uncle has been in the hospital, but we were able to visit them yesterday and they're all doing good. We had the pre-interview of Robert and he's super ready. HOWEVER, there are 2 big things that could stop the baptism from happening. First of all, he lives with his mom and his uncle, but we need the signature of his mom and his DAD, so if we don't get that signature before Saturday, no hay bautismo 😗. He also needs to have his actual interview from our District Leader, and we're a wiiiiiitle bit worried that Roberto could possibly not have time or something, SO. What I need is ya'll to pray that all goes well and we baptize him this Saturday, because he's SUPER ready....Satan just sometimes is lame.
We found this girl named Paula on Tuesday and she's also awesome. She's 23 and lives with this dude and she has a kid who's 6. Her mom is a member, but inactive because she's super old and like, can't move. BUT. Paula is progressing super well. She always has a ton of questions and is really interested in the Gospel. She's reading the Book of Mormon and also accepted a baptism date for June 8th. All she has to do now is pray! All of our lessons with her have always been super spiritual. Yesterday, her boyfriend even decided to join us and now we're teaching them both, which is a lot better. We just really gotta get that Law of Chastity lesson in there now 😊.
We had Zone Conference this last Thursday and I learned a lot about faith. Elder Santana's prayers and mine have been really relying on faith. If we don't have faith that the people we're teaching are gonna progress, or go to church, or accept the invitation to be baptized, they're not going to. But having faith doesn't just pertain to things about the Gospel, we need to have faith worldly things as well. Have faith that the Lord will give you what you need. Whether that's a good job, help with school, or that they open a Taco Bell in Paraguay someday. The Lord answers prayers, but we need to do our part and follow his commandments.
Elder Santana's birthday is the 29th of May and mine is the 14th of June and we're trying to think of something really cool to do together, so if ya got any ideas, hit me up. I heard there's a new song with Taylor Swift and Brendon Yurie (aka the 2 best artists on planet Earth) and I'm mad jelly that I can't listen to it. I also know the new Avengers movie has been out for quite a while now, but I'm sure it's just like all the other ones 😉.
But that is alllllllll I got for this week. Also woot woot I finally have pictures. I hope you all have a fantasticallybombtalicious week. I know school is almost over for any of my friends still in high school, so good luck with all your end-of-the-year tests and stuff. I miss all of you! Chaoooooooooooo

Heaven help this kid's English, deteriorating right before my eyes. You'd think he was learning Spanish or something.
