New companion from Argentina!

Whatttt iisss uppppppppp. This transfer is finally comin to an end and I'm a little sad. Me and Elder Santana had some good times. As the title said, we're going to the gym this transfer! A new missionary Elder Prado is coming to Paso de Oro and he's finishing his training, so I'm finishing his training woot woot. He's from Argentina, so I'm getting pretty close to having a companion from every country in South America. We got Boliva, Brazil, Peru, and now Argentina. So go me.

     Week 6 of the transfer is always really hard because we're always thinking about who are next comp is gonna be or where we're going, but we had a really good last week. We talked to a ton of people and found a lot of awesome people to teach. We also found a few really awesome less active families that wanna come back to the church, so we're planning on working with them a lot this next transfer.

     My birthday was on Friday, so that was pretty cool. It feels super weird saying 'tengo 19 años' instead of 18, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Thank you so much everyone who sent me happy birthday emails :).
  But I really don't have too much else to talk about for this week. I'm super excited for this next transfer!! We're gonna have a lot of fun and we're gonna baptize like crazy. Hope you all have a great week!

Hey Mom! Hahaha I'm so happy my picture with the cat is popular. I thought it was super funny when we took it. We were teaching a menos activo member and he had these little cats jump up on us during the lesson. So we have 'interviews' with President every transfer to make sure everythings good, and we had ours this week and President told me that I'm almost for sure going somewhere this transfer. He didn't know where yet but just told me I was leaving. I personally think it would be super fun to go somewhere super far away like in Zone 9 or something. The farthest area away is called Campo Nueva and I kinda wanna go there haha. But I don't have a huge preference. Also MOM. On my last transfer I am FOR SURE gonna try to make everyone feel trunky!!! Falam Portugues?

Heeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy everrryybbooddyyy!!!! Voces falam portugues? Está bem! Eu tambem nao. Mas vou seguir aprendendo kkkkkkkkkkk.      So we had transfers and I'm back here with my boy Elder Rodrigues and we're just having a grand ol' time here in the Floresta. I remember my first week here I had to adjust quite a bit. In Villarrica the people are super nice, but here they're a little more frío. So Elder Rodrigues kinda had to go through that same adjustment. But I think he's doing pretty good now.      I'm pretty glad that Elder Rodrigues is here with me. Last transfer my companion didn't drink any soda and only ate out once a week, but now we're back to eating out every day except Sunday and drinking soda for personal study in the morning, so life is good. I honestly have NO idea how I have not gained weight since I've been here. I checked my weight actually a few weeks ago, and I'm still sitting at the same 160 pounds of skin and bone tha...

The Prophet Was Right!

What the heck happened guys??? Last week was super chill, but then all of a sudden BAM I feel like we're in an apocalypse or something. IN JUST ONE WEEK! WHAT THE HECK?      So I'd first like to state that the majority of people here in Paraguay hear about the news about something and that's the ONLY thing they talk about. So if something happens, pretty much EVERYONE tells us about it. Members, non members, everyone. So we'd been aware of the Corona Virus for quite some time. But really I didn't think it was a big deal haha. Then on tuesday night we get this message from our president saying, "Due to the Corona Virus, there will be no church meetings of any kind for 2 weeks. No sacrament meeting. No district councils. NADA." WHATTTT yYOU GOTTA BE KIDDING MEE?? HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE A MISSIONARY WITHOUT A CHURCH???
