It's goin' down!
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyy everybody. As you can cleary read from this title of this email, it's been going down lately. This week was AWESOME. You know how last week how we freaked out about someone finally going to church?? Guess how many went yesterday? Or a better question, how many times I've eaten a healthy dinner here in Paraguay. THREE! WOoooooooooooOOOOooooOOOOO! So life is pretty great here in Paso de Oro.
This whole transfer was like crazy hard and legit NOTHIN was going down. We talked to 150 plus personas every day and visited a ton of members who gave us no referrals and it was just TOUGH. But this week, I don't know WHAT happened, but all these people came out of nowhere. A bunch of members gave us referrals to visit this week, the guy who went to church last week came again, and an inactive family came who has a daughter who happened to just turn 9 (the golden age). So life is pretty fantasterific.
If any of you have forgotten (I'm sure you have, I don't think anybody reads these emails besides my mom anyways :D), I finished Elder Prado's training this transfer. It was the first 'responsibility' I've had since I've been here and it's been awesome. You feel really cool when you have a responsibility
. I won't lie, I've walked down the streets a couple of times here in Paso de Oro and people have literally stopped me and asked, "Wait...are you.... the Elder Erichsen? The trainer?" It gets pretty crazy sometimes.
Speaking of callings and transfers, transfers are tomorrow and guess who's the new District Leader? IT'S ME! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Isn't it crazy?? I'm suuuuuuuuuuper nervous but also suuuuper excited at the same time. Not only am I in charge of 3 companionships, but I also get to go on TV because I'll be so famous. But jokes aside, I'm super pumped. I'm gonna have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm sure I'll figure it out.
That's pretty much it. This will probably be my last transfer here in Paso de Oro, which is a little sad. It's super crazy. I super love this area and me and my companion get along really well, so I'm super excited for this next transfer. But I hope you all have a faaaaaaaaaaaaantastic week. Make good choices. Read the Book of Mormon. Go to church and the temple regularly. Don't do drugs. LOVE YOU ALLL!!!
Elder Erichsen
