I love Paraguay!

Whaaaaaaaaaaattttttttt isss upppppp eeeevvvvveeeeryyyyyyooonnnneee. How are you all? Bien bien bien? I hope so, because I'm just doing faaaaaaaaannnntastic. This week was crazy awesome. We're teaching a bunch of people and we set goals to talk to 162 people and we hit it! Have you guys ever talked to 162 people in a week about the Evangelio? That's right...I didn't think so. So life is pretty great.
     I went on divisions with our Zone Leaders and I learned a bunch to have love for everyone we talk to. A lot of times we clap at a house and somebody comes out and says "We're busy! Come back another day!"  and I'll politely say "What are you doing?? and they get mad and I learned that we don't get anything from that ðŸ˜‚. I also learned how to talk to so many people every day. Do you guys wanna know what we started doing? SINGING ON BUSES. Yeah, when we take buses to go places we ask the driver if we can sing a hymn and we'll yell at the top of our lungs because there's a ton of noise, "BUEN DIA HERMANOS Y HERMANAS! SOMOS MISIONEROS DE LA IGLESIA DE JESUCRISTO Y NOS ENCANTARÃŒA CANTAR UN HIMNO!" and we sing Soy un Hijo de Dios better than the Tabernacle Choir. After people cry from our beautiful voices, we talk to them and invite them to church and read the Book of Mormon and blah blah blah, you get the story. It's awesome.
     I totally forgot to take a picture, but for those of you who don't know, we live right next the Elders in Kennedy, another area. This week we started doing Insanity with them outside of our house. We wake up bright and early with them every day and Max OUT with Shaun T. It's great. It definitely helps doing Insanity with 4 people because you have more motivation to push harder because you don't wanna look like a loser and take a break. Like, without joke, I feel like I'm getting stronger guys. By the time I get back home I'll be lifting school buses. Be ready.
     All of the people we're teaching are awesome. The 9 year old girl Lujan went to church yesterday and she's suuuuuuuper excited for her baptism this Saturday. It's super goofy teaching little kids commandments like the Law of Chastity but we've been getting all of the lessons done with her ðŸ˜‚. The family said they're gonna buy a huge cake, so I'm pretty excited. Patricia and her daughter Alma didn't go to church yesterday, so we're gonna have to move their baptism date for later, but they're also super excited.
     I know nobody really cares, but I really feel like I'm enjoying the mission. Even when times are hard, I really love almost every moment. I'm even finding joy in contacting people all day when all the plans fall through. Unfortunately it's starting to get hot again and I hate the heat, but besides that I'm loving Paraguay! I've just learned a ton this week about being thankful. Life is awesome guys! We're only here for like 80 years (or if you're super healthy like me you'll live till your 110), so make the most of it! My old comp Elder Gomes (On the right) also went home for like 12 weeks for seizure stuff, but now he's back! Also Elder Gutierrez. We were all in the same district at one point.

Hey Mom! Hahaha I'm so happy my picture with the cat is popular. I thought it was super funny when we took it. We were teaching a menos activo member and he had these little cats jump up on us during the lesson. So we have 'interviews' with President every transfer to make sure everythings good, and we had ours this week and President told me that I'm almost for sure going somewhere this transfer. He didn't know where yet but just told me I was leaving. I personally think it would be super fun to go somewhere super far away like in Zone 9 or something. The farthest area away is called Campo Nueva and I kinda wanna go there haha. But I don't have a huge preference. Also MOM. On my last transfer I am FOR SURE gonna try to make everyone feel trunky!!! My Mission Is Over. See Y'All Soon

Hey guys! So I'm sure you all already know/have heard stuff about missionaries going home and stuff and yup, you read that title right. All Elders from the United States that have 18 or more months in the mission will be released. I currently have 18 months and something days, so I will be in that group. This last week has been crazy. We're closing our houses and everything. My Brazilian companion will be going home tomorrow and be with his family. We still don't know when all the gringos are going home. We've been told that in less than 2 weeks. But wow, this is just craziness. I'm super grateful for the chance I've had to serve and be here in Paraguay. I know that these are some trialing times right now for some people but just follow Christ and all will be good. I know that the church is true. The Book of Mormon is true. If it wasn't, there's NO FREAKING WAY that I would spend almost 19 months of my life telling people it is. I'm pumped for c...

Zone Conference!

Hey hey hey evverryyonee. What's up? Oh me? I'm doing great. I hope you all know that we finished those 14 liters of soda yesterday. And yes, every liter was worth it.      We totally had a zone conference with a General Authority named Elder Villar on Thursday and that was pretty amazing. Like, I definitely realized that the MEMBERS can be even BETTER missionaries than us! Just show the example, invite people to activities, be cool, idk. The church is awesome! Was a great conference.
