La Dentista

 Hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwdy yaaaaaaaaaaa'lllllllllllllllllllllll. How was your week? Bien bien bien? Que bueno. If you're reading the title, you'll see that we went to the dentist this week! Remember how I said (like 2 months ago) how Elder Prado broke his tooth from eating cereal? Well we've been going to the dentist a bunch and they always tell us 'ah, you need to take more antibiotics before we can take your tooth out' and so he's just been chilling with a broken molar for 2 months, but we FINALLY took that sucker out on Friday. I was literally sitting there watching the lady YANK this tooth out for a solid 2 hours. It was incredible. There was a TON of blood and he said it hurt really bad, but I too was exhausted of sitting there doing nothing so I don't know why he was complaining. But that ended up taking the whole day and we had to rest Saturday so it was a little rough to find new people to teach, BUT it was a pretty fantastic week.

     So last week this inactive member gave us a reference to this single mom who just moved in the neighborhood and we visited her on Tuesday and WOW is she awesome guys. We invited her to read the BoM, pray to know if it's true, be baptized on the 31st, and go to church and SHE ACCEPTED ALL OF THEM ON THE VERY FIRST VISIT! And guess what? SHE READ, PRAYED, WENT TO CHURCH, AND IS PREPARING FOR HER BAPTISM! I KNOW! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Her name is Patricia and her daughter Alma also accepted a baptism date for the 31st. They both LOVED church yesterday and are super excited for their baptism.

     And oh you just wait ya'll. You remember that 9 year old girl who went to church last week? Lujan? Oh, she also accepted a baptism date for the 24th. We've been teaching her family regularly and they're all awesome. They're also all HILARIOUS. Lujan always asks the funniest questions during the lessons. For example, On Saturday we taught the Plan of Salvation. We were explaining the 3 kingdoms of glory and were explaining the Telestial Kingdom. We explained how the stars can represent the Telestial Kingdom and how it't not nearly has bright as the sun. She then asks "Well how am I supposed to walk if I can't see anything?" And we were like "Exactly! Really hard right? That's why we want to go to the Celestial Kingdom!" She's sooooooooo funny.

     I would be lying if I didn't say that staying in the house all day Saturday was pretty nice . Like it was kinda hard because we had a lot of appointments that day and Saturday is like one of the best days to work, but man guys...I'm tired . There's a good chance I won't get a break like that for another year hahaha. We watched a bunch of church movies we have and it was pretty great. But we're super excited for this week that's coming. A lot of awesome stuff is happening in our area.

     We had district council last week and guess who had to lead district council? ME! I know! I had no clue what I was doing! It was so bad hahaha. But it's super legit being a leader. You feel super cool. But it's super weird. Like I'm... in charge of these other companionships haha. But they're all awesome. Everyone is doing super good in their areas.

     That's pretty much everything for this week. I know school is starting back up in the States so that's pretty exciting. If any of you curious (I know you're not :D), I think I'm planning on going to Utah State in January 2021, but still not completely sure. But we'll see. But hope you all have a fantastic week! Church is true.
