Villarica!
What is UPPPP everrryonnneee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! How's it goinnggg!!!??? How am I? Oh ya know, pretty fanFREAKINGtastic! Just finished my first week in Villarrica and it's just wonderful. TOTALLY forgot to take pictures, but it's like this really nice clean city, but it's also a little campaña(fields n stuff). It's giGANTIC. I think if you look at our WHOLE area, it would be about 100x bigger than my last area (not even kidding), but we work almost solely in this area around the city where the church is, and even that is like 5x bigger than my last area. It's ridiculous. But hey, I like walking anyways.
Everyone here in Villarrica is CRAZY nice. Like it's actually so weird how different the people are here compared to Asuncion. I'm used to "Otro día" at least 20 times a day, but guess how many times I've been told "Otro día" in Villarrica? NUNCA! I am yet to get rejected here like that. Like yeah, everyone is Catholic and not ready for the Gospel, but they're all SUPER friendly to us. It's amazing. It's a little tough because we have a goal to talk to a certain amount of people every week (140) and it's been way harder to hit it now that everyone wants to talk to us. But I got faith.
I FINALLY HAVE AN AMERICAN COMPANION. After like 7 months hahaha. My companion is Elder Jensen. He just got here to Paraguay 6 weeks ago so I'm finishin his training and he's just awesome. He's my very first white companion, so that's pretty cool. We also both have blue eyes, so we're REAL strangers here in Paraguay. It's really helped me a lot to have an American companion who doesn't know Spanish because a lot of times I zone out when I talk to people and just hope my companion has got me, BUT JOKES ON ME, THAT DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE. So I'm learning to ALWAYS be paying attention. Pretty sure I have ADHD or something....
Unfortunately, nothing too crazy is happening here in Villarrica. I feel like every area I go to nothing is happening when I arrive
. But we're gonna change that! We found a lot of awesome people this past week and the Spirit told me that all of them are gonna be baptized, so I'm super excited. Also, did you guys know that General Conference is in 3 weeks? ARE YA'LL EXCITED!!!?????? I'm pretty pumped.
Also do you guys know what else is coming up?....CHRISTMAS. Yeah, so I know it's September, but like that means it's basically Christmas time. Ya'll already know I'm already listening to Christmas music :D. So just a bunch of exciting things are happening. Life is great.
But hey, I sincerely apoligize for having like no photos this week of Villarrica R.I.P. But next week for sure. The chuch is true. Always be worthy to listen to the Spirit. HOpe you all have a fanTASTIC WEEK. CHAAAAAAOOOOOO.
