I'm Wet!

This week was soooooOOOOOOOOOOOO hoootttttTTTT. Oh my GOODNESS guys. I think it was over 100 like every single day. Pretty crazy. We had a pretty solid week though. We had this guy go to church who we found Saturday night and he seemed pretty cool. His name is Jorge. Besides that we just kinda talked to billions of people and found like nobody who wanted to get baptized which was kinda lame, but it was pretty great.
This week I broke my record for contacts. So we count every single person we talk to each day (like new people we don't know) and my previous record was 195 and we destroyed this week and hit 255, which was pretty wild. Probably talked to 255 more strangers in one day than I have in my whole life. We found 37 new people to teach, but that's now saying much because we probably won't find any of them again WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Anyways, last night we had a HUUUGGGEEE storm. Like I'm talking one of the biggest thunderstorms I've seen here. We were teaching this lady outside on her patio (there was no hombre in her house) at around 7pm and we were finishin up around 7:30 and all of a sudden this huge thunder hits and BAM it's POOUURRRINNNGGG. The whole sky was lit up constantly. She was like "Ah! Come inside! Come inside!" But we couldn't because there was no guy in the house lol. So we cheerfully walked out into the pouring rain and gott weeeetttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt. It was pretty fun. I think we almost got struck by lightning, but we're both still alive so all is well.
On Thursdays, we usually eat at this really awesome member family, the familia Gomez. Now this Thursday, it happened to be the dad's birthday, and he invited us to this suuuuuupppeerrr fancy house with a bunch of his coworkers of this judge place. It was SOIOOO GOOOODDDDDDDDDDD. There was this weird rice thing that had SHRIMP AND OTHER SEAFOODS IN IT!!! It was definitely the best thing I've had in all of Paraguay. We'll just say I gained a few pounds on Thursday.
One thing I've definitely learned this week (and really the past 14 months) is how blessed I am. Like I was born into the gospel with an awesome family. That alone is such a blessing. And THEN I live in the United States where all the houses are big and have running air conditioning. And we have SOO MUUCCHH FOOODD GUUYSSSS. Have you ever realized how much amazing food there is in the States? You got Panda Express, Taco Bell, Hu Hot, Noodles and Company, Little Caesars, J Dawgs, Sushi, oh my goodness guys there's actually so much food ðŸ˜‚. So I know it's not Thanksgiving yet, but I hope ya'll realize how blessed we are. I'll definitely not take anything for granite again.
But así es. That's all that's really been going on. Life is swell. Oh, also Happy Halloween!! Halloween is like my favorite holiday, so I hope ya'll enjoyed it. I dressed up as a missionary. I thought I played it pretty well. HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
