Paso Yobai Adventure
Wow guys! This might have been the most physically exhausting week of my WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE! I'M SOOO TIIIRRREEEDD RIGHT NOW! If ya'll forgot, I had to come to this area Paso Yobai for a whole week because an Elder went home here for breaking his back or something. So it was pretty wild. I'm gonna make this email a little different then the usual; I'm going to go over every DAY individually because so many things happened.
Monday - I get to Yobai and BAM, just to start off this AMAZING WEEK, I go into the house and there's NO AIR CONDITIONER IN THEIR HOUSE! WHAT THE HECK??? HOW DO THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT? IT'S LIKE 100 DEGREES ALL DAY.
Tuesday - We go do this SERVICE for these members by helping them hoe their ground a little. Then the member DROPS THE CAÑA ON ME and tells me I'm doing it wrong and how all of the gringos don't know how to do anything (lol). Then we had lunch(I've had diahrea every day since I've been here) and went out into the HEAT HEAT HEAT. IT WAS SO HOOOOTTTTTT. Then we had a CHRISTMAS DINNER with some members. That was awesome. They made some really good meat and there was a lot of soda. It was great.
Wednesday - WE HAD NO PLANS SO WE WENT AND CONTACTED ALLLLL DDDAAYY AND IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Thursday - My family celebrated Christmas so I actually called them on Thursday. We went to the church, aka the only place in all of Yobai that has internet. We taught two people who asked the same question and then dropped us, "Where does it say Joseph Smith in the Bible?" People don't like it when we say that his name isn't in the Bible.
Friday - We found a lot of cool people. At the end of the day I DIEEEEDDD. We went to this member's house to eat dinner and all of a sudden, BAM, my stomach starts dying and I feel suuuupeerrr hot. We go back home and I have a 101 degree fever and stomach hurt SOOO BADDD. If any of you did not know, I have never gotten sick in my whole mission. I love Paso Yobai.
Saturday - I died in the house. I think I have the 2020 EFY album memorized now.
Sunday - I had to give a TALK in church. Yeah, I come to Yobai for ONE week and they make my give a talk! What?? Also the whole reuniòn was in pure GUARANÌ. I didn't understand anything. It was great.
So that was pretty much my time here in Paso Yobai. I can safely say that I will never be riding a bike for the rest of my life nor come to Paso Yobai ever again.
HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT WEEK! I'LL BE LEAVING FOR A NEW AREA NEXT WEEK I'LL UPDATE YA'LL THEN! HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2020 WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOO
