La Floresta

Yup, you saw that right. I had a PERFECT 72 week streak of writing emails, but Gmail just HAPPENED to stop working at 2pm last monday, or better known as the time we went to the church to write people. So I APOLOGIZE, I'll try and do better.
     But ANYWAYSSSSS, we're here in the FLORESTA. WOOOOOO. You thought that Villarrica was hard? Hahahaha jokes on you, THE FLORESTA IS EVEN HARDER!!! The people here are FRRIIIOOOOO. Everyone in Villarrica were very not interested but they were always very nice about it. The people HERE just say "Yeah, we're not interested. May God bless you." And that's about it. BUT, it is quite satisfying when we actually do get into a house, if we're looking at the positives.
     All of that being said, La Floresta is pretty awesome. All of the members here are suuuuper nice. We also have a soft serve ice cream place super close to our house. My companion's name is Elder Cook and he's suuuuper chill. I've been very blessed with good companions the last 4 changes.
     It's been SOOOO HOOTTTTT GUUUYYSSS OOH MMYY GOODDNESSSS. I'm sure if I read my emails I wrote a year ago I would find myself saying that every single week. Well, here we are again. IT IS HOT YA'LL. It's constantly over 100 sí o sí. It's pretty terrible. Also there are mosquitos EVERYWHERRREE and I hate putting bug repellant on, but I really don't want dengue, so it's really just been a struggle. Just thought I would let you all know.
     Yeah, I would totally have a paragraph about all of the awesome people we were teaching and found, but it just looks like that's not gonna happen this week lol. But pray that we'll find somebody cool. I don't even care if they progress, JUST PRAY WE FIND SOMEONE TO TEACH. Thanks.
     But yeahhhhhhh, all is well here in Paraguay! We're gonna teach some bomb lessons and find some dank people this week. Muchas GRACIAS POR TODO!!!! Hope all is well in UTTTAAHHH. HAVE A GREAT WEEK LOVVVEE YAAAA'''LLLLLLL

Hey Mom! Hahaha I'm so happy my picture with the cat is popular. I thought it was super funny when we took it. We were teaching a menos activo member and he had these little cats jump up on us during the lesson. So we have 'interviews' with President every transfer to make sure everythings good, and we had ours this week and President told me that I'm almost for sure going somewhere this transfer. He didn't know where yet but just told me I was leaving. I personally think it would be super fun to go somewhere super far away like in Zone 9 or something. The farthest area away is called Campo Nueva and I kinda wanna go there haha. But I don't have a huge preference. Also MOM. On my last transfer I am FOR SURE gonna try to make everyone feel trunky!!! Falam Portugues?

Heeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy everrryybbooddyyy!!!! Voces falam portugues? Está bem! Eu tambem nao. Mas vou seguir aprendendo kkkkkkkkkkk.      So we had transfers and I'm back here with my boy Elder Rodrigues and we're just having a grand ol' time here in the Floresta. I remember my first week here I had to adjust quite a bit. In Villarrica the people are super nice, but here they're a little more frío. So Elder Rodrigues kinda had to go through that same adjustment. But I think he's doing pretty good now.      I'm pretty glad that Elder Rodrigues is here with me. Last transfer my companion didn't drink any soda and only ate out once a week, but now we're back to eating out every day except Sunday and drinking soda for personal study in the morning, so life is good. I honestly have NO idea how I have not gained weight since I've been here. I checked my weight actually a few weeks ago, and I'm still sitting at the same 160 pounds of skin and bone tha...

The Prophet Was Right!

What the heck happened guys??? Last week was super chill, but then all of a sudden BAM I feel like we're in an apocalypse or something. IN JUST ONE WEEK! WHAT THE HECK?      So I'd first like to state that the majority of people here in Paraguay hear about the news about something and that's the ONLY thing they talk about. So if something happens, pretty much EVERYONE tells us about it. Members, non members, everyone. So we'd been aware of the Corona Virus for quite some time. But really I didn't think it was a big deal haha. Then on tuesday night we get this message from our president saying, "Due to the Corona Virus, there will be no church meetings of any kind for 2 weeks. No sacrament meeting. No district councils. NADA." WHATTTT yYOU GOTTA BE KIDDING MEE?? HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE A MISSIONARY WITHOUT A CHURCH???
