We're teaching some people!

Yeah, you read that title right. THE FLORESTA IS TEACHING SOME PEOPLE WOOOOOOO. We found some pretty cool people this week. So that's a first for me here in the Floresta. Ya know... it's crazy. You find like 20 "new investigators" for a week and the next week they just COMPLETELY VANISH. GONESO. It's crazy. But we have like 4 people who stayed this week, so we're doing pretty good.
     Not gonna lie, pretty much nothing happened this week and I have nothing to write about. The week did fly by though. Like actually I feel yesterday was P day, it was crazy.
     Ummmmmm, this week we hit 215 contacts, which is like 80 more than the normal amount. So that was pretty cool. But most of those contacts were just "Hola hermano! Can we say hi really fast and introduce ourselves?" and then they say "otro día" and close the door, BUT it definitely still counts.
     But yes, definitely in a challenging area for sure, BUT we're still working hard, don't worry. The church is true. Jesus is our Savior. And the empanadas across the street from our house are really good. HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT WEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKK

Hey Mom! Hahaha I'm so happy my picture with the cat is popular. I thought it was super funny when we took it. We were teaching a menos activo member and he had these little cats jump up on us during the lesson. So we have 'interviews' with President every transfer to make sure everythings good, and we had ours this week and President told me that I'm almost for sure going somewhere this transfer. He didn't know where yet but just told me I was leaving. I personally think it would be super fun to go somewhere super far away like in Zone 9 or something. The farthest area away is called Campo Nueva and I kinda wanna go there haha. But I don't have a huge preference. Also MOM. On my last transfer I am FOR SURE gonna try to make everyone feel trunky!!! Falam Portugues?

Heeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy everrryybbooddyyy!!!! Voces falam portugues? Está bem! Eu tambem nao. Mas vou seguir aprendendo kkkkkkkkkkk.      So we had transfers and I'm back here with my boy Elder Rodrigues and we're just having a grand ol' time here in the Floresta. I remember my first week here I had to adjust quite a bit. In Villarrica the people are super nice, but here they're a little more frío. So Elder Rodrigues kinda had to go through that same adjustment. But I think he's doing pretty good now.      I'm pretty glad that Elder Rodrigues is here with me. Last transfer my companion didn't drink any soda and only ate out once a week, but now we're back to eating out every day except Sunday and drinking soda for personal study in the morning, so life is good. I honestly have NO idea how I have not gained weight since I've been here. I checked my weight actually a few weeks ago, and I'm still sitting at the same 160 pounds of skin and bone tha...

The Prophet Was Right!

What the heck happened guys??? Last week was super chill, but then all of a sudden BAM I feel like we're in an apocalypse or something. IN JUST ONE WEEK! WHAT THE HECK?      So I'd first like to state that the majority of people here in Paraguay hear about the news about something and that's the ONLY thing they talk about. So if something happens, pretty much EVERYONE tells us about it. Members, non members, everyone. So we'd been aware of the Corona Virus for quite some time. But really I didn't think it was a big deal haha. Then on tuesday night we get this message from our president saying, "Due to the Corona Virus, there will be no church meetings of any kind for 2 weeks. No sacrament meeting. No district councils. NADA." WHATTTT yYOU GOTTA BE KIDDING MEE?? HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE A MISSIONARY WITHOUT A CHURCH???
