Falam Portugues?
Heeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy everrryybbooddyyy!!!! Voces falam portugues? Está bem! Eu tambem nao. Mas vou seguir aprendendo kkkkkkkkkkk.
So we had transfers and I'm back here with my boy Elder Rodrigues and we're just having a grand ol' time here in the Floresta. I remember my first week here I had to adjust quite a bit. In Villarrica the people are super nice, but here they're a little more frío. So Elder Rodrigues kinda had to go through that same adjustment. But I think he's doing pretty good now.
I'm pretty glad that Elder Rodrigues is here with me. Last transfer my companion didn't drink any soda and only ate out once a week, but now we're back to eating out every day except Sunday and drinking soda for personal study in the morning, so life is good. I honestly have NO idea how I have not gained weight since I've been here. I checked my weight actually a few weeks ago, and I'm still sitting at the same 160 pounds of skin and bone that I left with. I'm honestly pretty scared for when my metabolism wears out. Like I could actually be OBESE if that happens. Hopefully I shouldn't have to worry for a while....
Fun story: So we were walking around looking for this member....OH, also side note. The directions here for houses are TERRIBLE. You know how in the States every house SÍ O SÍ has a house number and street names and everything? Well here it's VERY rare to have a house number, and if it does it's wrong. You SOMETIMES get both street names, but usually not. So finding people is pretty challenging. Anyways, we were looking for this member and talking to people on the way trying to teach them the everlasting gospel of happiness and joy(I don't know why people reject us so often...who doesn't want happiness and joy?), and we were clapping at this house and nobody came out and this guy right next to the house comes out and is like, "I don't think anybody is there," so we go and talk to this guy and I could see that he was wearing GARMENTS so I was like "Hermano! You're a member! An endowed member! What the heck!" and we visited him and he said he had moved from Ciudad del Este and how he hadn't gone to church in a while, but thought all was swell because he always reads his scriptures and prays. Ladies and gentlemen, if I had a dollar for every less active member who tells us this, I would be pretty rich. YOU NEED TO GO TO CHURCH EVERY WEEK TO RENEW YOUR COVENANTS. But we'll be visiting him again this week. I believe he has family members who aren't members, so we'll have to find out.
But yeah, that's prreeeetyyy much everything for this week. Pretty tranquilopa. Just tryna find those VASOS ESCOGIDOS. Pray we find 1000 PEOPLE TO BAPTIZE THIS WEEK. HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT WEEEK! LOOVVAA YEEAAAAAALLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!
