The Prophet Was Right!





What the heck happened guys??? Last week was super chill, but then all of a sudden BAM I feel like we're in an apocalypse or something. IN JUST ONE WEEK! WHAT THE HECK?
     So I'd first like to state that the majority of people here in Paraguay hear about the news about something and that's the ONLY thing they talk about. So if something happens, pretty much EVERYONE tells us about it. Members, non members, everyone. So we'd been aware of the Corona Virus for quite some time. But really I didn't think it was a big deal haha. Then on tuesday night we get this message from our president saying, "Due to the Corona Virus, there will be no church meetings of any kind for 2 weeks. No sacrament meeting. No district councils. NADA." WHATTTT yYOU GOTTA BE KIDDING MEE?? HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE A MISSIONARY WITHOUT A CHURCH??? This week was crazy!
     So if any of you are wondering how the people are doing here in Paraguay, everyone is pretty calm and chill. That's kinda how Paraguay always is though. Pretty much everything that involves a group of people is prohibited and there's A LOT LESS people in the street. Buses can now have no more than 10 people standing up. People are also advised to 'not let people into their house or talk to them.' Yeah, I guess that phrase could pretty much sum up how are whole week was. I kid you not, I think this was the HARDEST week of my WHOLE entire mission. NOBOODDYYYY wanted to talk to us. Nada nada nada. We hear that this week they're adding even more rules and shenanigans. It is kinda nice though. It's been very quiet in the streets and not as many drunk people walking around, which is good.
     I really thought that we were gonna have to stay in our house this week, but we just got an email saying that we cannot 'actively contact people unless they initiate the conversation.' So that means we can't talk to anyone on the streets or clap at any houses. But drunk people can talk to us! I have no idea what we're going to do this week. Basically EVERYONE we were 'kinda' teaching have fallen through. We have ONE cita this week on Saturday, so I guess Tuesday through Friday we'll be breaking the record for longest time walking in a day.
     But you know what guys??? THE PROPHET KNEW THIS WAS COMING! Isn't that crazy?? He said that this next conference would be unforgettable. Yeah. It's looking pretty darn unforgettable. Even Jeffery R. Holland said recently that there will be times when we won't have a church to attend. If that doesn't prove that the prophets and apostles receive revelation, I don't really know what does. I just can't believe that all of this happened in less than a week. Everyone was super tranquilopa on Tuesday.

This is the Prophet of God guys! He's awesome! I know that regardless of whatever trial or thing that is happening in our life, that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us. Hey Mom! Hahaha I'm so happy my picture with the cat is popular. I thought it was super funny when we took it. We were teaching a menos activo member and he had these little cats jump up on us during the lesson. So we have 'interviews' with President every transfer to make sure everythings good, and we had ours this week and President told me that I'm almost for sure going somewhere this transfer. He didn't know where yet but just told me I was leaving. I personally think it would be super fun to go somewhere super far away like in Zone 9 or something. The farthest area away is called Campo Nueva and I kinda wanna go there haha. But I don't have a huge preference. Also MOM. On my last transfer I am FOR SURE gonna try to make everyone feel trunky!!! Falam Portugues?

Heeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy everrryybbooddyyy!!!! Voces falam portugues? Está bem! Eu tambem nao. Mas vou seguir aprendendo kkkkkkkkkkk.      So we had transfers and I'm back here with my boy Elder Rodrigues and we're just having a grand ol' time here in the Floresta. I remember my first week here I had to adjust quite a bit. In Villarrica the people are super nice, but here they're a little more frío. So Elder Rodrigues kinda had to go through that same adjustment. But I think he's doing pretty good now.      I'm pretty glad that Elder Rodrigues is here with me. Last transfer my companion didn't drink any soda and only ate out once a week, but now we're back to eating out every day except Sunday and drinking soda for personal study in the morning, so life is good. I honestly have NO idea how I have not gained weight since I've been here. I checked my weight actually a few weeks ago, and I'm still sitting at the same 160 pounds of skin and bone tha...
