Zone Conference!
Hey hey hey evverryyonee. What's up? Oh me? I'm doing great. I hope you all know that we finished those 14 liters of soda yesterday. And yes, every liter was worth it.
We totally had a zone conference with a General Authority named Elder Villar on Thursday and that was pretty amazing. He talked a lot about how missionary work is really just loving and ministering one another. https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=7IRSt0xa4D4 That video is pretty awesome, you should watch it. Like, I definitely realized that the MEMBERS can be even BETTER missionaries than us! Just show the example, invite people to activities, be cool, idk. The church is awesome! Was a great conference. I also got to see the majority of my companions which was kinda cool.
It was hot EVERY single day this week. Ya know, I really thought the cold was coming, but I guess not :(. So I put on sunscreen every day, and I know that I'm not getting burnt because I know how sunburns feel, yet my face and neck and ears are CONSTANTLY red and everyone tells me that every day. So I don't know if my face is just naturally red or if I'm just permanently sunburnt. I guess we'll find out in 5 months.
If you remember my last email (I know you remember it word for word), you'll know that we got a TON of food. It was all incredible, and I'll never regret it. HOWEVER, this week we actually payed a guy to fix our water heater for our shower and also a bunch of other random things and we are BROKE right now. We got VERY little groceries this week and I'll just say we'll be eating lots of ramen :D.
So I'm gonna attach this video in this email, but we had a divisions on Friday and when we ended we came back home and our shower was like, flooded. I guess all of the water from our sink and our NEIGHBOR'S sink, goes through this drain underground and it's connected to our shower. So we came home and it smelt SUPER gross and we couldn't shower for 2 days. But after some hard work of unplunging and weird chemicals, our drainage now kind of works. The church is true.
WElp that's basically all I have for this week. I know I always send just photos of us eating ice cream and doing thing but I PROMISE WE WORK SUPER HARD EVERY DAY! We just don't have anything to take pictures of during the day so everything is at our house haha. But we're gonna get some bapptiizzzmmmssssss this week. Pray we find awesome people. Hope you all have a fantasstiicc weeekk. BYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEE
ELDER ERICHSEN

p2 -. Good ol Elder Gutierrez. My 2nd companion.
p3 - My 3 brazilian companions. Most people in the mission are lucky to have 1 brazilian, but I've had THREE. My portuguese is still a little rough
