Elder Gong Visits Paraguay

HEEEY MOM,
So a lot of stuff happend this week, and I don't have a toooon of time to email, so I'm probably gonna put most of the stuff in the group email if that's ok haha.
I'm super sad they don't celebrate Thanksgiving here ;(. I'm also a little sad because it's the first big holiday I don't get to be home for. But it's all good!
It raineed like crrraaazzzyyyy yesterday and like 3 days ago and it was beautiful. It sucked yesterday though because there was literally no one at church. I counted 20 people. TWENTY. Fortunately, we got Margarita to go. Oh yeah, we totally had her baptism on Saturday, and it was amazing. Then she got the gift of the HOly Ghost yesterday and that was awesome. It's so crazy seeing people develop such strong testimonies so fast.
Elder Gong was AMAZING. I don't know if it's just because I've met them now, but Elder Gong and Elder Stevenson are my favorite apostles now hahaha. He's so relaxed and it's so easy so understand what he's saying.
Is Isaiah just not gonna be home for Christmas then? So I won't get to talk to him? That sucks ;(. But at least I'll get to talk to you and everyone else! I look forward to that day all the time hahaha.
I'm happy you all are getting more comfortable in the new ward (hopefully). I love how many countries the missionaries are representing! It's awesome! Thanks so much Mom for everything you do, LOVE YOUUU.!!!!!!!!
Elder Erichsen ;)

Hey Guys!!
So a LOT of stuff happend this week. First of all, I totally forgot the mention that we had ANOTHER APOSTLE visit Paraguay on Thursday. This time is was Elder Gong and it was amazing. He talked a lot about how we're assigned to our missions for a reason and how we can learn a lot from our missions.
Next, our investigator Margarita got baptized on Saturday! It was honestly incredible. It's so awesome seeing people's testimonies grow and grow every time we visit. Margarita is only 14 years old, and I remember when I was 14 and I didn't have a strong testimony at all, and it's just so awesome to see how people can progress so young. Also, on Friday we had to prepare the baptism font and it literally takes forever haha. I have no idea how it works in the United States, but here the drainage isn't the best, so there was still water in the font from the last baptism (about 2 months ago). So we had to get buckets and start draining it out, and then clean it. Then we had to fill it back up with water which literally takes like 4 hours haha. But it was all totally worth it for the awesome baptism. I've only been to one other baptism in my life besides my own, and they're definitely super spiritual and awesome.
A thing that happens a lot when we're proselyting is people LOVE to talk. A lot of people don't necessarily want to hear about the Gospel, but they want to just talk to us. It's definitely one of the harder things I've experienced so far. But 4 days ago, we helped one of our investigators clean her yard, and then we were prepared to teach about the Plan of Salvation, but literally we sat down and she started talking and, I kid you not, didn't stop for an hour hahahah. Me and Elder Guerrero didn't say one thing! And then the moment we left, it started POURING rain. We got completely drenched hahaha. I guess that's my funny story of the week idk lol. We visited her again yesterday, though, and she gained a strong testimony of the BoM and now we have a baptism date for the 15th of December, so I guess patience is important.
We have transfers tomorrow, but me and Elder Guerrero are staying put here in Republicano, so luckily I don't have to worry about teaching another person the area or anything, so that's good.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff to stay about this week, but for right now I think that's it. They don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, but Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Hope you all stay super safe and have a good week. Love you all.

[Note from Mom: Seth, it does not "literally" take forever to fill a baptismal font. Watch your use of rhetoric, Seth!  :-)   :-)   :)]

Pic 1 Everyone tapes this pictures they find on their agendas, so heres mine lol.
Pic 2 OK. This dude Neri in our branch makes these AWESOME scripture cases and he made this for me. Yeah, that's all in Guarani. Yeah, I can't read it either lol. But it looks cool haha.
