Christmas in Paraguay!

Image
Hey Mom!!! So as you can see now, I get to email today! Woot woot. I get to talk to you guys tomorrow, so I really don't have that much to say haha. So we actually  had the chance to pick when we wanted to call from the 23rd to the 27th I believe but I kinda assumed that you wanted Christmas because..well..it's Christmas. And also everyone would be home. Elder Guerrero actually called his family yesterday and he used Google Hangouts and that worked super easy and well, so that's what we're gonna do. Plan on 12pm Utah time. Just have your email open and I think it'll alert you when I call. We're using a computer in our church that's super nice, so we shouldn't have any problems. We have 1 hour to talk, but yesterday Elder Guerrero went over like 10 minutes so we'll see haha. Also if you have any questions about anything, I'd recommend writing them down because otherwise you'll probably forget. I always forget to write stuff in my ema...

Hot!

Hey Mom! This week has been awesome! We found a lot of new people to teach. Yes, it has been HOT. I believe it has been over 100 almost every day hahaa. It rained one day and we didn't have our umbrellas so we got drenched that day, but oh well. So Elder Guerrero has 8 weeks left (That's 2 weeks left in this transfer and 6 in another transfer) and right now he's on his 5th transfer in Republicano (That's a LONG time) so he's for sure switching areas this transfer and I'll probably stay here, unless they want to whitewash Republicano. It's so funny, Elder Guerrero got here in Republicano the day of my graduation, June 4th. Isn't that crazy? Church is good. Sundays are always hard for proselyting because everyone is partying, and it's also the last day of the week and we're tired and ready for P day hahaha. We had one girl progressing really well, but she's Evangelic and they're crazy haha. W...

The Church is True. Remember Jesus. Love you all.

Que tal mis naranjas, Allllllllllright. This week was pretty bomb. So to start off, last Monday, we had a little mini district activity. Did you know that there's a TGIFridays in Paraguay? And all the music there is in English? And the menu is in English? And it tastes the same as in the United States? Yeah. NEITHER DID I. I felt like I was in the United States again  . So we went there for lunch and then went and played soccer at the church in Centro. Then on Tuesday we helped a family clean their front yard. Literally every person here owns a machete to cut down trees. We chopped down a bunch of their trees and basically just cleaned. I totally forgot to bring my camera for pictures so oops. And then on Wednesday we had a zone Christmas activity. We all gathered as a zone in our Mission President's house and talked a lot about Christmas, and played ping pong. It was a grand time. Totally forgot to take pictures soo oooooooops. I think Paraguay just had a hol...

Praying in English is so hard!

Hey Mom! Woot woot we're almost at the 100 day mark. It's gone by so slow yet so fast at the same time haha. No I didn't even know their was a devotional haha. But I'm sure it was great. I still think it's hilarious that it's Christmas time but it's still very hot outside haha. I have White Christmas on my mp3 player and it makes me laugh. I went to Elder Sapp's area (Sajonia/Centro) and that area is a lot richer than ours so there's a TON more lights in peoples houses and stuff. I loved it. Woot woot! Hopefully my Spanish will be better by then haha. It'll probably be easy to understand Dad because it's a second language for him. It's always easier to understand Spanish when it's from someone in the United States because they speak a lot slower and with more diction. Ok, Elder Sapp literally has 3 investigators that are FLUENT in English and we taught all of them that day. I forgot how easy it is to speak...
