Happy New Year!
Hey mmoooommmm,
Alright. So Elder Guerrero is going to some area in Zone 8(I don't know how to pronounce or spell it so don't ask me) and I'm staying here in Republicano. Normally we have cambios on Tuesday, but it's being delayed to Wednesday because of New Years. My new companion is Elder Gutierrez and he's from Utah!! WOoot! I get a companion that speaks English! I'm so happy
Wow. It's literally 2019 tomorrow. Isn't that crazy? And you know what's even crazier? I get to spend ALL of it in Paraguay. Hahaha!
Anyyywaaayyysss, this week has been pretty tranquilo. A lot of people haven't been home because of New Years, so we haven't been able to visit a lot of the people we usually do. It's also rained a ton this week which has been awesome for the heat, but not the best for finding people. But we have found a few more awesome people to teach and I think we have a few that could potentially be baptized in January. Right now none of them have a baptism date but I'll definitely update you all next week if we get some.
I think it's so funny when people ask us what we're doing for New Years. We're always just like ¨Solo dormiendo no mà s¨ Just sleeping. There were a TON of fireworks for Christmas, so I imagine the same for New years, so I'm excited for that.
We have TRANSFERS on Wednesday. Elder Guerrero over here has been in Republicano for 7 months! And he's finally leaving and going somewhere like 4 hours away. I don't know how to spell his new area so I'm not even gonna try
. But I'm just boolin´here in Republicano for another 6 weeks. My companion is Elder Gutierrez and he's from Utah! Guys! I get a companion that knows English! I've never been more happy in my life. He has just a little over a month more than me in the mission, so he's very new as well. But I'm super excited to meet him and freaking baptize our whole area.
Tonight we're going to a members house to eat dinner and that's about the most fun we'll have for new years.
