Happy New Year!

Hey mmoooommmm,
Alright. So Elder Guerrero is going to some area in Zone 8(I don't know how to pronounce or spell it so don't ask me) and I'm staying here in Republicano. Normally we have cambios on Tuesday, but it's being delayed to Wednesday because of New Years. My new companion is Elder Gutierrez and he's from Utah!! WOoot! I get a companion that speaks English! I'm so happy ðŸ˜‚. I don't know too much about him. I only talked on the phone with him for like 3 mintues haha. He has one more transfer than me so he's also very new. I also know that Elder Sapp is going somewhere in Zone 3 so I'm a little bummed about that. Also! One of the guys from my CCM group (Elder Campbell) is going back to Utah. I guess he had bad depression problems and he can't handle to mission. So that made me a little sad as well. But that's about all I have for cambios.
Right now I think Graciela can definitely be baptized next month and also this dude named Junior. He struggles with going to church but his dad is actually a member, but very inactive. He wants to go to church but his boss wouldn't let him have Sundays off, but he just told us yesterday that he doesn't have to work Sundays anymore! SO I think Junior as well can definitely be baptized this month. Also we found this girl named Celestina and she's awesome too. I think she could get baptized as well. I guess me and Elder Gutierrez have some work to do hahaha.
I feel bad that Amanda and Eli had to work on Christmas. That day SUUUCKKEDD at Macaroni Grill. I remember all the guests were so rude and means and all the servers didn't wanna be there and it was just awful hahaha.
But yeah, nothing too crazy.happend this week. Obviously I'll have a new companion in 2 days so that's exciting. But yeah, I don't got a ton more to say haha.
Anyways, hope you have an awesome new years. We're going to a member's house for dinner tonight and eating a ton. We have permission to be out until 10 30 so we're gonna go crazy ðŸ˜‚. THANKS MOM LOVE YOU!

Wow. It's literally 2019 tomorrow. Isn't that crazy? And you know what's even crazier? I get to spend ALL of it in Paraguay. Hahaha!
Anyyywaaayyysss, this week has been pretty tranquilo. A lot of people haven't been home because of New Years, so we haven't been able to visit a lot of the people we usually do. It's also rained a ton this week which has been awesome for the heat, but not the best for finding people. But we have found a few more awesome people to teach and I think we have a few that could potentially be baptized in January. Right now none of them have a baptism date but I'll definitely update you all next week if we get some.
I think it's so funny when people ask us what we're doing for New Years. We're always just like ¨Solo dormiendo no màs¨ Just sleeping. There were a TON of fireworks for Christmas, so I imagine the same for New years, so I'm excited for that.
We have TRANSFERS on Wednesday. Elder Guerrero over here has been in Republicano for 7 months! And he's finally leaving and going somewhere like 4 hours away. I don't know how to spell his new area so I'm not even gonna try ðŸ˜‚. But I'm just boolin´here in Republicano for another 6 weeks. My companion is Elder Gutierrez and he's from Utah! Guys! I get a companion that knows English! I've never been more happy in my life. He has just a little over a month more than me in the mission, so he's very new as well. But I'm super excited to meet him and freaking baptize our whole area.
Tonight we're going to a members house to eat dinner and that's about the most fun we'll have for new years.
But yeah that's about all I got for this week. There'll be a lot more to write next week because I'll have a new companion haha. Thanks for all your emails. Hope you all have a FANTASTIC New Years. Be safe. Don't do drugs. The church is true.

Heaven help this kid's English, deteriorating right before my eyes. You'd think he was learning Spanish or something.
