Halfway There, Livin' on a Prayer

Image
Wow guys has it really been a year already?? Time flies by like crraaaazzyyyyy. I legit cannot believe that I have been here for 363 days. Like do you guys know how long that is?? It's a LONG TIME. I feel like I just got here and that I was born here at the same time.      As you can see from that first picture, we out here boolin' it up and we BAPTIZED! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! So that was pretty exciting. We had the best baptism service planned and invited so many people with different assignments (prayers, talks) and legit NOBODY CAME. The only member family that went was one of the counselors of the branch presidency, so me and my companion had to basically do everything  . But besides that it was incredible. I really feel like Lujan and her family are gonna stay active in the church. We're gonna keep visiting them regularly going over the lessons again.      I know I've talked about this like every email, but oooooohhh my goodness it is so fun...

Whaaaaaaaaaaattttttttt isss upppppp eeeevvvvveeeeryyyyyyooonnnneee . How are you all? Bien bien bien? I hope so, because I'm just doing faaaaaaaaannnntastic. This week was crazy awesome. We're teaching a bunch of people and we set goals to talk to 162 people and we hit it! Have you guys ever talked to  162 people  in a week about the Evangelio? That's right...I didn't think so. So life is pretty great.      I went on divisions with our Zone Leaders and I learned a bunch to have love for everyone we talk to. A lot of times we clap at a house and somebody comes out and says " We're busy! Come back another day!"   and I'll politely say " What are you doing??  and they get mad and I learned that we don't get anything from that  . I also learned how to talk to so many people every day. Do you guys wanna know what we started doing? SINGING ON BUSES. Yeah, when we take buses to go places we ask the driver if we can sing a hymn and we'll yell a...

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy yaaaaaaaaaa''''''''''' llllllllllllllllllllllllllllll lll. How was your week? Hot? Guess what....IT WAS HOT HERE TOO. Yeah, ya know how it's like... supposed  to be winter here? Yeah, it was like easily 90 degrees all week. But luckily I'm already used to being super hot all of the time because I am, so it was able to stand it. But on the realsies, this week was AMAZING GUYSSSS. We saw MORE MIRACLES!! I know! It's been crazy. We've had like 3 awesome weeks in a row, which is crazy. Yesterday this inactive family went to church and they hadn't gone for a loooooooooong time. They had a baby who died and they were just super traumatized from that and we visited them and talked about the plan of salvation and they just felt the spirit so strongly and it was awesome. They have 2 kids(who are older than 8 woo woo) who aren't baptized so we'll be visiting them :D. So this week was pretty fant...

La Dentista

Hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo wwwwwwwwwwwwwdy yaaaaaaaaaaa' lllllllllllllllllllllll. How was your week? Bien bien bien? Que bueno. If you're reading the title, you'll see that we went to the dentist this week! Remember how I said (like 2 months ago) how Elder Prado broke his tooth from eating cereal? Well we've been going to the dentist a bunch and they always tell us 'ah, you need to take more antibiotics before we can take your tooth out' and so he's just been chilling with a broken molar for 2 months, but we FINALLY took that sucker out on Friday. I was literally sitting there watching the lady YANK this tooth out for a solid 2 hours. It was incredible. There was a TON of blood and he said it hurt really bad, but I too was exhausted of sitting there doing nothing so I don't know why he was complaining. But that ended up taking the whole day and we had to rest Saturday so it was a little rough to find new people to teach, BUT it was a pretty fantas...
