It's HOT; Trio; and I'm training again!

Helllloooo everybody. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before but WOOOOWW it's SOOO HOOOOTTT HEEEREEE. It was hot every SINGLE DAY THIS WEEK. It was about 100 degrees Farenheit every day. So I guess you could say this week was pretty good.
Just being real here, this week was really challenging. All of the people we were teaching that were progressing cancelled all of their appointments this week, we had the lowest church attendance in the transfer, and I only drank 6 two liters of coke instead of the usual 7. We're definitely learning about sitting down and being humble. But despite all of the challenges, this week was pretty great. We definitely worked harder this week than any other this transfer, and we're gonna keep working harder each one.
One thing I've definitely learned from the mission is how AWESOME life is. Ya know, you don't realized how awesome life is until you got out on a mission for 2 years and you're not allowed to do ANYTHING đŸ˜‚. Like just look at all of the things you can do. Just to name a few: watch a movie, listen to Taylor Swift's new album, hang with friends, not wear a white shirt and tie EVERY DAY. LIFE IS INCREDIBLE. But that's why I'm here in Paraguay, to share what gives us real joy. THE GOSPEL. It's hot, everyone is Catholic, and the closest thing to Mountain Dew is Sprite, but wow it's incredible. I love it and I know it's the best thing I can do in my life right now.
So we just finished ANOTHER transfer(I know, it flew by) and we'll actually have changes here in Villarrica! Me and Elder Jensen are going to be in a trio for this week with Elder Sutton and then next week I'll be going to office to grab Elder Smith, who had a problem with his visa and has been serving in California for the past 5 weeks. So I'll be ending aNOTHER Elder's training. This is the 3rd time in a row. So we're gonna have 4 gringos in the same house in a chuchi area. It's gonna be wild. But it's gonna help Villarrica a looottt. The area is huuuuge and having 4 elders will definitely help.
Have I ever mentioned how I love being a monster? I swear, me and Elder Jensen just walk down the road and everyone runs away from us. We'll go up to talk to a families of 5 people who are outisde drinking tererĂ© and before we even get there 4 of them have already gotten up to go inside. This week, we saw this old lady with her 2 grandkids outside drinking tererĂ© and we decided to talk to them. One of the grandkids IMMEDIATELY went inside(I swear, it was like we were gonna kill her or something) and the other grandkid said hi and was like "GIve me one minute", so we were just sitting down with this 80 year old lady who only knows pure guarani. We'll just say that "one minute" was more like 30 minutes and we had to leave. It's great.
Yesterday we read the talk from Christofferson about how the gospel gives us peace. I can definitely read spanish and understand it better than hearing it from conference, so I was able to understand a lot more this time from reading it. He asked the question of "Is keeping the commandments and staying faithful worth it?" For some reasons, this question was actually on my mind this week, and it just so happens to be that we read this talk this week lol. It definitely helped me understand all of the blessings the gospel gives us and how we get so much peace from living it. We see so many drunk people on the street and so many broken families with kids who don't even know who their father is. Just imagine if everyone had and lived the gospel! Life would be lit! It would be flippin awesome! And it'll be even better in the Celestial Kingdom where sushi literally grows on trees. I'm so excited.
Ok, but seriously we need some mad prayers this week. We need help finding the people who are waiting for us to receive the gospel. We'll try our best to find them, but we need the prayers to help THEM know they need the gospel. It's gonna be really whacky teaching as a trio, but I guess we'll see how it goes đŸ˜‚. HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A FANFRRRKKINGTASTIC WEEK! LOVE YA'LLLLLLLLL.

ps - totally forgot to take like any pictures this week, rip

p1 - So we totally thought this area in our district called Paso Yobai was gonna close this transfer. It's a really challenging area and nothing happens there, but it ends up that Elder Farnsworth is staying, so we took to picture to remember him.

Heaven help this kid's English, deteriorating right before my eyes. You'd think he was learning Spanish or something.
